About Us
At Boaters OS, our inception is rooted in a blend of fortunate discovery and transformative solutions. Born from a desire to respond to the urgent calls of mariners grappling with service challenges, Boaters OS stands as a beacon of innovation and support in the marine world.
Our founder, Spike, a figure of enthusiasm and insight, is the architect behind our vision. His deep understanding of the boating community's needs has shaped our approach to addressing the long-standing difficulties faced by boat owners, particularly in the realm of Marine After Sales Service.

Spike's journey in the marine industry, spanning over two decades, has been marked by a commitment to not only understanding but also revolutionizing the way boat owners experience after-sales service. His expertise and passion have been pivotal in creating a platform that not only identifies the pain points in marine service but also offers practical, effective solutions.

At Boaters OS, we believe in the power of community, knowledge, and technology to transform the boating experience. Our platform is more than just a service; it's a community where every member's voice is heard and valued. We are dedicated to empowering boat owners with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate the often complex world of marine service with confidence and ease.

Join us on this journey as we continue to innovate and elevate the standard of marine service, ensuring that every trip out to sea is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Our Story
For over two decades, "Spike," an alumnus of Georgian College's Marine Technology and Recreation program, has been a cornerstone of the recreational boating community. His journey includes roles as a dockmaster, towboat captain, and marina operator. However, his primary focus has been leading 'We Beautify Boats,' a yacht detailing company that champions apprenticeships in marine trades.
Naftal's driving force is to develop technological products that shake up the status quo, particularly in the African market, which brims with untapped potential for growth and innovation. He is deeply committed to discovering how technology can revolutionize sectors, notably agriculture and finance, to create impactful changes for those who need them most.

The paths of Naftal and Spike first crossed in 2012. At that time, Naftal was wrapping up his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Waterloo and had moved to Toronto to embark on a career as a software developer, renting a room from Spike.
Their serendipitous reunion in Kensington Market in 2019 sparked the realization that Spike's long-held vision could come to life through Naftal's technical expertise.
